Self-registration for new prospective students

Information

Here are the deadlines for the next application period for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs offered in winter semester 2026/2027:

EU-applicants:
15 May 2026 – 15 July 2026 Bachelor’s and Master’s programs  

Non-EU applicants:
1 April 2026 – 15 June 2026 Bachelor’s and Master’s programs International Management (uni-assist)
15 May 2026 – 15 June 2026 Master’s programs

Please note that in some cases an aptitude test and/or registration on hochschulstart.de or uni-assist.de is required. Find out more about the application process.

If you do not yet have an account in the FH Dortmund study portal, please follow the steps below:

1. Register using the Register button.
2. Verify your e-mail address using the activation code or the link from your welcome e-mail.
3. Log in with your user ID and your chosen password.

Login for already registered prospective students

If you already have an account in the study portal, you can log in with your user ID. This was sent to you by e-mail. Use the password that you used when you registered.
